Violin for children
Young students get focused, individual attention, one-to-one. Lessons build a comfortable posture and bow hold from the start, and include pieces they enjoy. We also teach children with special educational needs in a calm, supportive setting.
Violin for adults
It is never too late to begin the violin. Start from nothing or pick up where you left off, with lessons shaped around the music you love and the time you have.
What you will learn
- Posture, bow hold and a clear tone
- Playing in tune, by ear and from the page
- Scales, position changes and vibrato as you progress
- Pieces you choose, alongside pieces that stretch you
What you get
- Live sessions with your tutor
- Practice materials to download
- Personal feedback on your progress
Preparing for an exam?
